Julia found her passion for dance at Ballet Etc on their competitive team, where she competed in various disciplines including Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical, and Contemporary. In her time competing, she was recognized for her performance skills and technique through scholarships, world performance invitations and stand out awards. Julia has also completed her Advanced 2 Cecchetti exam.
After graduating, Julia pursued an honours degree in Professional Dance Performance in London, England, where she expanded upon her learning in ballet, pointe, repertoire, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern, singing, and commercial dancing. While studying, she was selected to take part in her school’s student choreography showcases, promotional materials, performance team, and open days. Professionally, she has been involved in productions on Netflix and the BBC in dancing roles.
Since finishing her degree, Julia has returned home, where she is excited to be teaching and sharing her love of dance at BE.
