Tessa began dancing at the age of 3 at Canadian Dance Company in Oakville and has been competing since the age of 6. She has trained in a variety of styles, including jazz, ballet, tap, contemporary, and hip hop. At the age of 11, she continued her training at Joanne Chapman School of Dance, where she began assisting classes and developed her passion for teaching and mentoring young dancers.

Throughout her training, Tessa completed her BATD certifications in jazz and tap and completed her RAD ballet examinations up to Advanced Foundation, strengthening both her technical knowledge and appreciation for dance education.

Tessa is currently enrolled in Brock University’s Concurrent Education program and will be entering Teachers College this fall after completing the undergraduate portion of her studies. Alongside her academics, she spent four years as a member of EDGE Dance Team, where she continued to grow as both a performer and a leader, including two years as captain.

Tessa is excited to continue sharing her love of dance through teaching and hopes to inspire confidence, creativity, and growth in every dancer she works with.
